The North Central Michigan Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society is specifically focused on habitat management in
our area. The Gladwin Field Trial Area is one of the premier ruffed grouse field trial grounds in North America.
Our Mission
"Dedicated to improving the environment for ruffed grouse, woodcock, and other forest wildlife."
Locally focus on habitat improvement and youth participation.
Chapter Meetings:
The chapter is headquartered at East Bay Lakefront Lodge on Houghton Lake, (989) 366-5910.
Chapter meetings are held regularly; call for schedule. Public and guests are always welcomed to attend.
